  1. A lesson I eventually learned the hard way is avoiding negative people. In certain situations they can’t be avoided but I no longer allow them inside my inner circle of positive minded family members and friends. I no longer try to change their attitude because of the toll they take (on me,anyway) I have often heard them referred to as emotional vampires. I actually do feel tired after being around a person who seems to thrive on gloom and complains about EVERYTHING. From my personal experiences they very rarely, if ever change and they seem determined to look for the worst instead of a solution. Positive minded people can actually make you feel better instead of worse.
